Dr. Sheetal Mahajani is a renowned gastroenterologist and hepatologist based in Pune, India, with more than three decades of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive and liver diseases. She currently serves as the Director of Hepatology, Transplant Hepatology, Gastroenterology, and GI Endoscopy at Sahyadri Speciality Hospitals in Pune. Dr. Mahajani is widely recognised for her pioneering role in establishing Pune’s first liver transplant programme and has been involved in performing and managing more than 95 liver transplant procedures.
