Annu Kapoor (born December 24, 1956, in Indore) is one of India's most respected character actors and radio personalities. Trained at the National School of Drama (NSD), he began with theatre and made his film debut in the 1980s. He gained massive popularity with his iconic radio show Yaadon Ka IdiotBox on Red FM (2001–present) – one of the longest-running radio shows in India.

 

He is known for powerful supporting & character roles in films like Viruddh (2006), Gulaal (2009), Delhi Belly (2011), Vicky Donor (2012), Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Article 15 (2019), and Bala (2019). He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for Dhanak (2015). Married to Anju Kishinchandani since 2005, father to three children.
