Meghna Gulzar (born December 13, 1973, in Mumbai) is an acclaimed Indian filmmaker, director, and screenwriter. Daughter of legendary lyricist Gulzar and actress Rakhee Gulzar, she grew up in a creative environment steeped in literature and cinema. After completing B.A. from Mithibai College, she assisted her father on films and debuted as a director with Filhaal... (2002).
