Neetu Kapoor (born Harneet Kaur on July 8, 1958, in New Delhi) is a veteran Indian actress from a Punjabi Sikh family. She began as a child artist (Baby Sonia) in the 1960s with films like Do Dooni Char and Waris. Rising to stardom in the 1970s, she became a leading lady in hits like Deewaar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Kaala Patthar, and Yaarana, often paired with Rishi Kapoor in 12 films.

 

She married Rishi Kapoor in 1980 and retired to focus on family, raising daughter Riddhima and son Ranbir Kapoor. After Rishi's death in 2020, she returned selectively in Do Dooni Chaar (2010), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), and others. At 67, she remains active on social media, sharing family moments and tributes to her late husband, while enjoying grandmother duties with Raha Kapoor.
