Sanjay Mishra (born October 6, 1963, in Darbhanga, Bihar) is one of India's most respected character actors. Trained at the National School of Drama (NSD), he began with theater and small roles before gaining recognition in Peepli Live (2010). He rose to critical acclaim with Ankhon Dekhi (2014), winning the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
